STEMS is a small loan project of Education for Africa funded through a grant from WorldWide Education, the Research Institute in Utah, USA, and the assistance of many volunteers.

Here's how it works:

Your Part	Our Part
Contact Education for Africa	Read and comment on all business proposals
Write a business proposal	Prepare an educational program to assist you toward success
Work with the Program Support Person to learn how to establish a successful business	Provide technical assistance and support to guide the establishment of your business
Be accountable to the Program Support Person	Provide a small loan
Repay the loan according to an agreed upon schedule	Assure accountability and collection services
